The service does not offer diagnostic assessments; it focuses exclusively on treatment initiation, optimisation, and ongoing medication management. Following receipt and verification of a formal ADHD diagnosis, patients undergo a comprehensive baseline review, including medical history, physical health parameters, cardiovascular risk assessment, and review of any comorbid conditions or concurrent medications. Treatment plans are developed in line with NICE and national clinical guidelines, with shared decision-making involving the patient and, where appropriate, parents or carers.
